If you haven’t been to see us before we are situated at 2 Blencathra Street, a short level walk from the centre of Keswick.
How to find the office
Coming from Penrith; - Take the 1st junction off the A66 to Keswick and follow the signs towards the town centre. Continue on Penrith Road past the garage on your left and keep going until the road starts to go uphill towards the War Memorial and the Traffic Lights. At the top of the hill turn left onto Station Street and then immediately left onto Southey Street with “Rumours” on your left and “Cumbrian Cottages” on your right. Go straight down this road past a small alley way on your right and take the next left into Blencathra Street. We are the 1st building on the right hand side of the street.
Coming from Cockermouth; - Take the 1st junction off the A66 to Keswick and follow the main road towards the town centre. At the mini roundabout go straight on, through the traffic lights where the road turns left, up the hill. Take the right had junction after the 2nd set of traffic lights at the top of the hill into Station Street the immediately left into Southey Street with “Rumours” on your left and “Cumbrian Cottages” on your right. Go straight down this road past a small alley way on your right and take the next left into Blencathra Street. We are the 1st building on the right hand side of the street.
Parking
Most the streets around the office have unrestricted road side parking. Some streets e.g. Station Street and Church Street have 2 hour disc parking. There are two Pay and Display car parks near the centre of town (see map) and are about a 5 minute walk away. During the summer months due to the number of tourists parking spaces can be sparse and we advise you to allow plenty of time to find a suitable parking space.
If you have trouble walking far or use a wheelchair it is possible to use our gateway, in front of the wooden gates, to unload but we do ask you to ensure you have someone with you to move and park your car once you have got out as the gateway gives access to our neighbours as well as ourselves.
Our Office
When you arrive please come through the green front door and if you turn left once in the entrance hall you should see our reception area, where staff will be waiting for you.
If you require wheelchair or pushchair access of if you have any difficulty with the front steps we have a ramp at the side of the building through the large wooden gates. If you do arrive via the ramp please come through the green side door into the waiting area and carry on straight ahead up the second ramp where our reception area is on the left.
